Blair Turnbull

Blair joined Milford as Chief Executive Officer in March 2025.

Blair has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry in New Zealand, Asia Pacific and the United Kingdom, with a proven global track record in large-scale digital and data innovation, delivering disruptive, customer-focused models. Blair has strong leadership skills and a deep knowledge in client centric delivery and digital innovation.

Most recently, Blair was CEO of Tower Insurance NZ and as such played a fundamental role in transforming the business to become a leading direct New Zealand and Pacific insurer, with an aligned culture and strategy, and a focus on innovation in digital technology. Prior to that, Blair was Managing Director, UK Digital, UK & International with Aviva Group, Executive General Manager, Wealth and Insurance at ASB Bank and Executive VP, Group Advisor Strategy Planning and Projects at Great Eastern Life in Singapore.

Blair holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting, Marketing and Finance and a Postgraduate Diploma in Commerce from the University of Otago.
